So, we needed a name that would match this larger vision. While “Music Protocol” captured our roots, it didn’t reflect where we were going. “Record” represents music and IP. “Nexus” represents connection. Together, they embody our new mission: to create a global hub where IP and finance meet, and where creativity gains liquidity.

1. Relaunching on Plume: Built for Real-World Assets
After months of collaboration with Plume and securing a $300,000 grant, we now have a solid foundation for real-world IP finance. This partnership allows us to seamlessly integrate into Plume’s layer-1 infrastructure, providing institutional-grade compliance and new opportunities for financial inclusion in the creative sector.
2. Reimagining Our Technology Architecture
Plume’s layer-1 architecture gave us the opportunity to refine and modularize our product offerings, making them more flexible and easier to adopt. Here’s what we’re building:
RECORD Notes (RLNs): Structured, asset-backed instruments secured by future royalty streams.
RECORD Pools: Diversified, fractional IP ownership portfolios, formerly investment pools.
